Mango Tree

Mango trees are planted to harvested fruit. The ripe fruit commonly eaten in the fresh state, as a table fruit or a mixture of ice, in the form of slices or blender. Young fruit often dirujak, or sold by the roadside after the peel, split apart and fitted with chili seasoning salt. Mangoes are also treated as sweets, slices of dried fruits, canned and others. In various regions in Indonesia, mango (young or old) are often used as a mixture of sour sauce or fish and meat dishes.

Mango seeds can be used as cattle feed or poultry; in India even serve food in lean times. Or be engulfed his young leaf vegetables. Mango wood is strong, tough and easy to implement; but less durable for outdoor use. This timber can also be a good charcoal.

Mango leaves contain organic compounds tarakserol-3beta and the ethyl acetate extract bersinergis with insulin activates GLUT4, and stimulates the synthesis of glycogen, which can decrease the symptoms of hyperglycemia

Mango is mainly produced by the countries India, China, Mexico, Thailand, Pakistan, Indonesia, Brazil, the Philippines, and Bangladesh. Total world production in '80an about 15 million tons, but only about 90,000 tons (1985) which are traded on the world stage. That is, most of the mango is consumed locally.
