Betawi language

Betawi is a creole language (Siregar, 2005) which is based on Malay Market coupled with elements of Sundanese, Balinese, Javanese, the language of South China (especially Hokkien), Arabic and European languages, especially languages Dutch and Portuguese. This language was originally used by the community down the middle to the early development of Jakarta. Community as well as the slave traders who most often use. Because it grows naturally, there is no clear standard structure of the language that sets it apart from the Malay language, although there are some elements that can be used penciri linguistics, for example, from the decay of the prefix me-, the use of the suffix-in (the influence of the Balinese language), and the transition noise / a / is open at the end of the word became / e / or / ɛ / in some local dialects.
